FlexLife

What is FlexLife?

FlexLife is a new, proprietary* Second Life client that will add Lua embedded scripting support with a Lua-driven UI and a wider range of platforms (Mac OS, Linux, and Windows, both 32 and 64bit).

What will FlexLife enable?

FlexLife will allow for an enormous range of new technologies and options, even moreso than LSL in its current form.

  • Client-side combat HUDs
  • Embedded IRC chat
  • Dynamically generated UI floaters and menus
  • Precompiled code packages (for proprietary code)
  • Filesystem I/O
  • Access to OpenGL rendering subsystem
  • And much more.

What is FLAC?

FlexLife will add in new client-side scripting features, so obviously, an anti-cheat system must be included to provent Aimbots etc. from being used.  As the system is still undergoing the planning stages and it is to be proprietary, the specific mechanisms used will not be discussed.

Can I join up as a developer?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: If you have the nessecary skills and I know you, please contact me.
